More and more common these days I think. Anyone buying a printer to really use long ago switched to laser. And once you buy one, you have one for forever.

Biggest issue is the vendor stops making supplies for it - I have a color laser like that.. once I'm out of supplies, the printer goes in the heap.

@Dashrender You can get the empties refilled, which will last you a while until something else breaks

Toner is easy to refill yourself. Fusers not so easy to make haha.
I think my brother B&W laser is from 2007 and my Color is about 1 year old. I rarely need color.

The reality is I rarely use it - so I might last another two years with the supplies in it.

wow... Here in KY it is part of the count clerks office.
In VA, the DMV is a separate agency. -
The town I'm technically part of's post office is open 9-4 closed for lunch from 1-2, and Saturday open from 9-10 AM. I don't even see why they are open on Saturday at all?
Wish I could have my mail directed to another post office without buying a damn PO Box.
