Oy... now that the holidays are over things have kicked back into high gear around here. I came in at 5am to patch, and had meetings from 8:30 to 11:30.
Tomorrow is already stacking up to be another day of great fun.
Same here. No more weekends free for a while.
That's entirely too much fun. Gotta make some music some time, you know.
Wednesdays and Sundays are carved out as music time.
I sponsored and attended a huge concert here in teh city last night. What a blast. Amazing set of musicians playing an event honoring the birthday of one of the country's bigger singer/song writers. They performed his work for about four hours! Really great performances.

Happy Friday everyone! Having a Czech style dark lager at the brewery that's a few hundred yards away from the office. So damn good....
-
Just did a long walk and some filming. Taking it easy tonight. Hopefully no work comes up.

Having a cup of some tasty coffee... Tanzanian peaberry. It's been a while since I felt like splurging on some fancy beans, but I had to try it after tasting the regular blends this company makes.

So last week I rolled out DUO 2-factor authentication. Happy to say that I only had 1 user with any issues, and that only required a simple delete / recreate account. I feel safer already.

Duo. My place has been on it for 2-3 years now.

Hmmm... good to know. I might have to pick your brain if I run into any other problems.

Having my mind blown that the CCNA certification doesn't bring up anything about SNMP community strings....
At least according to an employee...

Duo works well here too for past couple years.

From my latest round of Cisco CCNA Training (circa 2001), it wasn't mentioned then either, lol.

But like... the history of SNMP and networking... and the damn fact that everything and their cousins includes "public" and "private" community strings by default.....

I'm hopeful. We are making the work plans for a business trip to Bolivia and Argentina. Then the big boss and I are hoping to arrange our return flights from Santiago and go visit Chile after the work trip portion is done.

We use the hell out of it. VPN, OWA, RDP, and working on using it to secure some 3rd party sites so they dont have to juggle 5 different mfa apps.
