Had to factory reset a Lenovo this morning. Holy cow is that a lot of junk they add to those things!

Cleaning out the garage, getting another van load ready to go to storage.

Just did the final walkthrough after having a tin roof put up on the house!

nice nice , Worried about the aliens are we ?

Only the wet ones that kept finding their way through the shingles. One found it's way in and invited a friend, who invited a friend... etc.

My attempt at being funny - Tin Roof = Tin hats.. Conspiracies.. know what never mind I'll go sit in the corner.. lol

Looks nice though, how much did that run you

It ran about 13k, includes repairing the chimney (it had started to rot). Pricey, to be sure, but this same crew did my folks house a few months back, so the circle is complete, lol.

Savings in Electricity and Gas should help me see a ROI sooner.

13K - man I'd love that.. my shingle roof cost me $25K 10 years ago.

We get quotes around 10K here.

Ours would have been around 10k, but we had them fix the chimney too. It was starting to dry rot. Ugh. No more problems with roofing for the next 25 - 30 years, lol.

@WrCombs Mild case. Just like ordinary virosis (flu). Symptoms started on sunday. Probably brought by my 11 year old girl from school

Yeah, the bits for just the chimney was about $3k. I had one quote for just the chimney from another group that was nearly $10k -- JUST FOR THE CHIMNEY.

Did you let the school know, or did they call you? Around here, the school calls us any time there's a case found.

@dafyre We do not know for sure, we can't track for sure where did it came from. We just suspect it was from school becuase kids are there together without masks and our girl had very mild symptoms last week and now she is fine, while the rest of us at home are sick.

laptop gets handed to me, "what's wrong with it?" I ask. "Dunno, just won't start up" is the answer.

push the power button, starts up immediately.
