      Exchange 2013 database dismounted and stating it was a dirty shutdown.

      Why only one of the 2 databases and of course the server has not been rebooted....

      I hate email servers.

            Dealig with Verizon and Spectrum outages in upstate NY due to the storm. Honestly it isn't even a hurricane there should not be any issues.

                On an "into"meeting for SOC 3 audit. Guess teh higher ups want us to be "compliant". Guess I have some reading to do tonight.

                    having a [doh] moment. kept poring over my code and wondered how it could be wrong, because i wasnt getting the output I expected. finally realized the file i was reading from was in wrong directory:/

                            More updating of systems. We have a few kinds of software that require regular updating so they can do state reports or it won't work correctly. I could almost just do that full time theres so much of it.

                                      heh no, the state wants its reports but I have to continually update our software to keep it working. A month out of date is too long.
