For now. I'll be setting up the families plan so I can get my parents into using a password manager. I'm considering upgrading my own account to the premium so I can use my Yubikey again for 2FA.

Bit warden is medium high on my list right now to get the company migrated into.
-
Testing out Zulip. Neat idea, not sure how useful it will be for us.

Wow, already? At the height of things here? What the heck. That seems reckless.
-
We are trapped here another month as Nicaragua has closed the land borders and all flights are suspended another month for travel from the US
So now, we wait until September for the next bit of news.

Yes unfortunately. I was just telling my supervisor on the way in that if the users all stayed home we could too and everyone involved is happier. He agreed but the administration doesnt want to do that.

That sucks, sorry. Getting away seems like a great idea to me also.

Just had an interesting conversation with a coworker from our Ankeny (Des Moines) office about one of our sites here in Omaha.. which is an adult entertainment venue... Thought it was funny enough to share here:
C- They wanted a way to connect into their site. we got them loaded with NCR's Secure access for customers, their complaining. Want to move to Teamviewer, told them it had to be PCI compliant.Me- Hey thanks for helping out. but, uh.. it doesn't need to be PCI compliant.. They dont take credit cards, and they aren't selling to customers.. they use their pos to track the contractors times in and out of rooms/spaces/stage so that the contractors can pay their evening rent.
C- Yeah so, I told them That it was properly their internet. I dont see why it wouldn't need to be PCI compliant though..
Me - Its a strip club. They dont server food or alcohol for legal reasons ( no license to do either) They're a Preforming arts center where the Girls rent the rooms and are employed as Contractors. They don't use Credit cards to pay off their rent at the end of the night.. I mean I never did when I was dancing there (joking obviously)
C- You used to Strip????
Happy Monday Folks.
