trying to find an intel based, 14", 128GB SSD, 4GB laptop for under $700 for a school.
Do the AMD CPUs work OK or do you get weird buggy things happening with them every now and then??
Not the A series. Ryzen is glorious but I don’t think there’s any available under $700AUD

Rebuilding my little PBX.
Into something different?
Maybe a PBZ?
Another viable option: PBJ

Definitely is. I'm working on one right now, lol. This one is a Ryzen 5 and game with a GTX1070 and was $800. So Ryzen 3 without a high end GPU under $700 should be easy.

I'm so funny:
coworker: Why can't we just get a windows back here? I'd love to be able to look outside.
Boss: Because they're treating us like mushrooms- keep us in the dark and feed us a bunch of shit?
Me: Dude, your Surrounded by Windows. There's at least 30 right here on these two tables. Just because it says Microsoft on it, doesn't mean it's not a window.:smiling_face_with_open_mouth_closed_eyes:

Just saw an entire five minute ad on YouTube for a blatant scam (think Liquid Nitrogen Overclocking level scam). I can't believe that Google is allowing a full on fake company to advertise. It's that Arthur Bell Blade 720 drone add where they pretend that he was fired as a designer from DJI when he uncovered how to make drones cheaper. They claim that they are cheaper because they "have no advertising cost"... a bold claim to make while I'm watching a very expensive paid advertisement from them. They didn't even make an effort to cover up that the whole thing is a scam. If you Google them, it's clear that it's all fake. You can't buy from any reputable source, only direct, the price is absurd, and every single review is that the whole thing is a scam.

Yep I've seen several ads like that, for drones, razors etc all obviously fake.
I don't know how to word what Im thinking, but G and FB seem to have pulled out all restrictions and are just chasing revenue using any method they can use and Joe and Josephine Public just don't seem to give a stuff.
Back in the 90s before the world was on the Internet, it wasn't so bad, society generally wasn't involved in this hyper advertising world, but now that society lives online everyone is affected.

Yeah, but the scams were everywhere and it was so hard to look them up. Hard to verify how much of a scam something was.
Every magazine was full of scam ads, church ladies run scams like crazy selling crap to people at church... it's everywhere even without the Internet. But now, at least, we can look it up, make it public how obvious it is a scam, and hold the platform accountable for supporting it.
