What Are You Doing Right Now
-
@scottalanmiller Yep - both home and work are a little under an hour from Buffalo.
Outage only lasted a couple of minutes, and no one called me to say that their computer immediately shut off and they lost their work . Last one exhausted my supply of spares...

looking for a cheap way to run up some test Windows VMs. Should I be able to do that on a linux VPS with Solus?
Should not be able to do it on any VPS. The assumption with any VPS is that you can't virtualize on top. YOu don't get IP addresses, virt extensions, etc.
Some do. I found a good one before, but pricing was a few dollars more than my current one and just didn't feel like switching then. I'd do it now though.
Who was that?
Can't remember right now. I will find it. It looked pretty good from what I remember.

HostDoc does... but that's not the one I found when I was looking before and almost pulled the trigger on.
I might have it bookmarked on my other computer that I can't check right now. -

Cool. Did I know that? We had an intern in Lockport two years ago. I grew up in Wyoming County.
-
@srsmith I used to live in Lockport, now reside in Amherst.

Doing some "spring" cleaning.

Nice - I didn't realize there were others on ML that were familiar with Lockport. I usually need to point out Buffalo for people to recognize where in NY I am talking about.

Even @MarigabyFrias who lives in Panama has been there!

I know that @JeremyRichardson hangs out there sometimes.

@Dominica is having a mustard intervention with @pchiodo because apparently Heinz mustard has appeared and that's not okay.
WTF, Heinz makes many types of mustard. Some suck some do not.

Trouble shooting why this Windows 10 PC randomly restarts throughout the day with no reason for it - but it doesn't usually take as long as a "Normal" restart- it's much faster.
