I want to get another year or two out of my Honda Insight. Maybe even another 100,000 miles (at 200k). But man, a Tesla would be nice right now.
Looks like your dummy light is on... Time for an oil change?
According to the computer code, some emissions thing that will cost me $800, but it goes off sometimes. So I ignore it for now.
Like a Ford, all the sensors going off all fo the time for no reason. Driving a Ford apparently is just living with sensors beeping all of the time.
Apparently Toyotas too, ha ha.

Oh boy. My Chevy has its ding ding ding, bright read flashes all the time too.
I was hoping the Toyota's that I was looking at was going to solve that problem.

I haven't had that experience with any Toyota I've owned / driven.

I am trying to get out of my Impala and was looking at pre-owned Camry's. Very very view available with 6-cylinder engines.

What am I doing? Trying to explain basic networking to a Comcast "Tech support agent" so they can get our internet back up.
Are you screaming into the phone yet? If you are, it sounds like you could be dealing with Windscream.
I have dealt with them as well. And yes, they are much worse. Once in a while I'll get a really good tech at Comcast, but never with Windscream.

Dealing with Medicaid/Social Security "web site". I put web site in quotes, because they are really setting up a freaking VPN connection in order to get into an Oracle database. I'm sure this is so very secure

My Sienna is really good about warning lights. Only shows stuff when something is actually very wrong. Coming from a Ford Flex this is a bit refreshing.

If it is something like an O2 sensor, you may be able to change it yourself. Usually it's just disconnect the wires and unscrew it... but it depends on where it is and how much disassembly it takes to reach it.

Not a simple sensor. I forgot what the issue is off the top of my head. I would need to talk to my mechanic. I've already validated what he told me with another shop, so I'm solid on the issue.
I mean, I'm only at 206,000 miles on a 2010 Honda Insight. FFS you think things could last or something.

My Subaru just crossed 200k. I'd love another 100k out of it.

That's my goal. I bought this in early January 2015 with 80k on it. So in 4 years I've done 120k. If I keep the pace, I am looking at 3-ish years. I don't know if it will make that or not.

I just getting a LinkedIN wasn't a bad idea eh?LinkedIn communications tend to be better than stuff from Monster, etc. The latter usually results in calls about developer positions, while my resume has zero development experience listed.

The random "I got your resume off the internet and was wondering if you wanted a job 6 hours away that pays a quarter of what you're looking for" connections are the best.
