@smartkid808 they haven't removed me from shit. I posted freely, and that got stomped out.
-
@RojoLoco just shows what they are... trash....lol..
The last straw that made me say screw them, was when I had a Spiceworld ticket, and they wouldn't refund me or at least move it to the following year. I got it during the $99 deal, so wasn't alot of money but still. I had to have surgery and couldn't go, no exception for that.. wow.. -
I still stay in touch with couple GG.. Some of they where great..

Denton County (NTG's county) is under full blind tornado warning (rain wrapped). Zero visibility tornadoes.

Sorry to all of the people like @CCWTech @LilAng that our Rocket just rebooted.
At least it didn't explode.

So many servers updating. And about time to go play some video games with the kids.
-
Decided to update my Fedora desktop to F30. But, of course, in the long update process, a customer needs to call me. So while my phone works, I can't exactly see my desktop to do anything while talking to them.

P30 has a decent amount of true zoom, first one of its type to do it. It's a huge breakthrough. That's what put it on my radar initially.
Looks awesome. I told my wife about it. She's in need of a new phone.

Just been playing with setting up SSH access to my home router using SSH Keys, seems to work.
(Reason i need to play with some VPN and routing policies and the guides suggest using SSH commands to do it, not the GUI )Also getting to grips with KVM now seems ok so far.
-
I have also been spending quite a bit of time with KVM. I have noticed a big difference in disk activity between 2 servers that have similar specs and the same workloads - one running KVM and one on Hyper-V 2019. The KVM server is using a lot less resources it seems.
-
Oh, PowerShell! How I love thee! Especially when you give me error messages despite having
-ErrorAction SilentlyContinue
specified in the command. -

Yeah, that's to be expected. Hyper-V is way more bloated. But cool that it has been observed apples to apples.

Oh, let me know how she likes it if she tests it. I really want one.

Better to be frustrated and aware of an impending tornado, than to be dead because you were unaware of an impending tornado. .
