Recording videos about learning musical intervals.
I can honestly say that learning about intervals was the key to unlocking music for me. That allowed me to be able to play anything by simply thinking about the distance from one note to the next, and how that affected the way it sounded.

Anyone recommend a good scanner that is under $1000?

holy shit 25 hr battery life! mine barely do 3hr
-
@LilAng oh, is the purpose for scanning normal pieces of paper or things like drivers licenses?
As for a scanner like that, I don't really have a recommendation.

I'm not sure how well I will like them come summer. I got them in the winter. They work well as ear muffs.
The sound quality is great listening to music or watching videos.
The mic pickup plays back too loud int he headphones making calls sound horrible to me. The other party states i did not sound terrible, but background noise is picked up more than I would prefer based on their descriptions.
The battery life may well be 25 hours. They seem to last forever.

My Plantronics might not be 25, but they last a really long time.

@JaredBusch Would you recommend any other brand or model?

For ~$250 Sennheiser has a sound cancelling model. I believe @Dashrender has that one.
But basically, no. I don't buy these often enough to have recommendations.
I prefer over the ear to ear buds for longer listening.

Speaking of... where is he?

I have some over the ear Sony BT headphones that I like a lot, but like @JaredBusch said, they're a bit toasty in the summer. I mainly use them for travel, battery life is great, and they're around $150.

@RojoLoco I hear Sony headphones are pretty good. I think I made a bad decision, I recently bought the Marshall Major III but not the Bluetooth model. I'm looking to buy something better, more comfortable AND with bt. Sennheiser is my main option I think

I like Sony and Sennheiser, but for sheer audio quality, I would go with Audio Technica's high end wired models. BT kinda sucks, but it's convenient. Those Marshall cans are just a marketing ploy... "hey rockers, buy these headphones because you can't afford a Marshall stack for your guitar!!!". Also avoid Beats, those things suck.

LOL, if you have to tell people that, they are in big trouble.
-
@RojoLoco Beats are straight up trash, I would never buy them and Marshall's are extremely uncomfortable but the sound is not bad. Also yes, I know Audio Technica is amazing and all but I hate how big and ugly they are.
-
But Beats are by Dr. Dre, there's no way he'd put his name on something that is crap!

Yeah, but that flat frequency response tho.
(I used to mix music on ATH-M40s exclusively)
