Anyone have screen shots on how to make a local account during log in with Windows 10? Got a user trying to set it up and all it will do is offer them online accounts.
Choose to setup on domain. At least that's what I've done.
So you choose the opposite and it gives you local?
Choose domain account and you get the 'older' style of account setup. After you get a local account, you'll be joined to workgroup in workgroup mode and then you could join a domain if desired.
Go figger
To clarify, this is during setup, not login after you've created the online account
Yeah, I'm in setup stages over chat.
Dunno if this helps but, once you get a desktop, open file explorer and you can right click on this pc and get manage, properties, ... It's my 1st goto if I need to setup old school

Still doing Sage updates.
Our finance team stopped paying for maintenance two years ago.. That took care of me having to do Sage 50 updates. :face_with_tears_of_joy:
That would be nice. How do they deal with the incorrect tax info?
Unsure on that one. They don't let me touch the money. However, that is fair question I will raise if I am ever asked.

I've witnessed clients that basically don't use it beyond GL.
Taxes are done separately.

If anyone deals with Citgo, the credit/debit cards probably won't work. I'm heading to our sites and am opening a ticket with the payment processor (ControlScan -- fna EchoSat).
Windshield time and it's 9 degrees. Sheeez -

Passed my CWNA today!

Moved to a Dual boot laptop over the weekend,... Work requires Windows, and I'm preferring Ubuntu over that. But - I have yet to figure out how to address some of the issues with work under Linux,.. and I have to provide my own laptop. So there you to.
I realize that I need to figure out how to 'script' a simple command (at least as I see it) to keep track of what I do via CLI. Makes it so much easier to fall back to when I wipe/load a system I know what applications I used, and how it installed it.
ETA:
history
will do this,.. i jest mean dump to text file -
Having an awful creative block. Maybe eating might make this better??
-
Had to jump on a conference call without any warning. Just when I thought that it was safe to relax.
