@DustinB3403 they might need to blow up San Diego before they dig through there...
The digging will handle a lot of it.

This is all we need to do.Dig out everything in pink and put in a massive canal. Forget about Panama.
I think you'd fine that digging from Lake Superior to Seattle would be way easier. It's already water and ports nearly the whole way.
The goal is to cut off Mexico from the South not the north. If they can get to Canada they are free to invade from the North.
Winter is coming after all.

maybe we start acting like China and just take the northern Half of Mexico for ourselves and dig a slighter shorter path.
You do realize we DID take the northern half of Mexico for ourselves, right? It's called Texas, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah.
Yeah but we need to take a bit more obviously.

I also got to clime the wall I'm busy bashing my head against as well today. Security camera died.
Hey's that's an easy fix. Especially if you go that Wyzecam Firmware route.
You mean, cheap fix?

Honestly we'd only need like 100 miles into mexico to make it work easily. Get a massive port made near Puerto Penasco and it'd be all set.

North Flan?
El Flan del Norte sounds like an old west bad hombre. Wanted for custard rustling.

Less than 100 miles actually, closer to 80 miles at the thinnest part near Puerto Penasco.

Ahhhhhh! Windows 10 update! Installing update for the last 80 or so minutes, stuck at 81% for at least 30 minutes.
The base OS is becoming less important each year IMO. This is enraging it really is.

Kind of. It's less in your face. But it is still where performance, security, and a lot of features come from. We just pay less attention to it year after year. And I think that that is mostly only true in the Windows world. Outside of that world, the base OS remains just as relevant and in the spotlight as ever.
That Windows 10 causes so many headaches from getting the basics wrong, really highlights just how important the base OS remains.

fortunately this is happening to my #2 laptop, my main laptop is still OK .. for now, but it's put the start of my work day back 1.5 hours.
I'm thinking of linux for my desktop more and more, but if I do that then my W10 desktop knowledge will drop off as I won't be using it. -

I think you're 100% spot on there, a well considered opinion.
