What Are You Doing Right Now

@jmoore Its few and far between for me. The last time I actually had time to spend on this was back in May and that was for a brief moment. Before that, it was in March.

@nerdydad Yeah I know what you mean. I used to do a couple articles a week but its been weeks since I have had time to write.

@jmoore People are wanting me to write more advanced articles, but I need to write more basic ones to connect dots for others so it doesn't seem like I am jumping from one interest to another. Just makes it so hard sometimes.

I know how that is. I tell them to suck it and just jump around erratically anyway.

Just Switches or all the Ubiquiti stuff it can?We only use Unifi AP and about 5 EdgeSwitches (at the moment)

@hobbit666 When did UNMS start managing Unifi equipment? I thought they were separated.

@nerdydad it doesn't we have two VM's a new UNMS for our EdgeSwitches and a Unifi Controller for AP's.
But i think UNMS can look after other Wireless stuff.

UNMS won't manage APs. But it does switches and firewalls. Mostly we manage firewalls, as we are a service provider it gives us insight and alerting to lots of clients and all their locations. It's great. We are slowly moving clients to UBNT switches, too, and so getting more of those in our UNMS now. But firewalls are definitely the majority.

We don't do WISP work or anything like that. We don't have any clients that we manage UBNT specialty wireless, just normal Unifi wireless currently.
