yes, there were some servers with 14.04 which we upgraded to 16.04 and then now to 18.04

I just went from 16.04 to 18.04 today with do-release-upgrade -d Worked out pretty well too.

Repos for 14.04 to 16.04 are still up as far as I know.
Should be up for a long time, those are LTS repos.

End of life for 14.04 is 2019 and 16.04 is 2021. -

trying to address some digital sprawl.. It's not directly easy with the number of 'loose' drives. But getting through a bit of stuff...
