Doing the happy dance on the way home as I finally stood up a VOIP system and have phones connected to it.

Nice! Great project just before the weekend.

Spent much of my day working on getting a script put together that would automatically create our users out on our UNIX machines, set up their home directories, deploy their public keys, setup permissions, restorecon and update the boxes while throwing on a few basic packages. Still a few blips but basically it works as a very simple, brute force means of using SSH Key authentication to a decent number of disparately located UNIX machines securely and easily.

Good morning to all!

Have fun at the wedding. And enjoy your day off.

Sharing a big block of Alpujarran cheese with my daughters.

Updating the GoPro firmware and getting all packed up so that we can head out to Seville in the morning.

I hate software companies like this. Too lazy to name product in Program files with the installer. And don't remove Databases you install once uninstalled. (I'm looking at you Avid Media composer & Blackmagic davinci resolve)

And I hate that they weren't true to the books. It sucks when people who don't care about the books get to make the movies.
At least they didn't cram it into one movie.
Yes, it's disappointing but that must mean that you hate a lot of movies. I couldn't live with that much hate in my life -
Watching Despicable Me 2. I love those minions

Setting up a new MacBook Pro and heavily debating running a Windows Server VM instead of installing my full stack in OS X.

Yes, it's disappointing but that must mean that you hate a lot of movies. I couldn't live with that much hate in my lifeI generally don't watch movies much anymore. I find them often boring and pointless. I really liked the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The Hobbit trilogy didn't live up to it in any way, though.

Packing up the car, loading up the kids. Time to drive all of the way across Andalucia again. Off to see Seville.

On hold for the ISP Megapath whose hold music sounds like someone is holding a cellphone up to a boombox speaker, in terms of quality, etc. It's quite sad actually...

Well my wife oficially quit her job yesterday to stay home with our (for now ^_^, kinda hoping for 1 more) two boys.
So right now I'm gonna start spinning up a website and she's gonna start a home cake business ^_^

I would love having a home cake business. Can I make money staying home full time eating cake? I could like take pictures and review it as I eat it.

Taxes.
I had them ready except for one thing over a month ago. Then work happened and I procrastinated.
Not like I could EVER forget tax day in the US as it is also my birthday.

Had a nice day out in Sevilla. Relaxing in our apartment now. Enjoying an ultra-modern European apartment for a change of pace. Very hip, heart of the city, very modern finishings and spacious. Quite comfortable and good Internet.
