One day, I'll get around to learning why you must restart a Windows server after changing the hostname for it to take effect and not a Linux server.
One word...files!

Hello @scottalanmiller & @gjacobse
I'm hereFour
hours
of
sleep...
Well I managed to get 8+ last night, sadly not interrupted, I woke up at least 5 times.
Two nights before though was only 3 hours sleep - that was following a day that included being stranded in Salt Lake City because SFO tower delayed flights earlier in the day, and my flight from SFO came in an hour late, then obviously left an hour late - making me miss my connection in Salt Lake to home. Had crappy sleep on on a pull out couch - the a late afternoon flight home, once there a rush second pack job to drive 7 hours to Chicago - arrived at 2:30 am, out by 3, up again at 6. Crazy.
all I can think of right now after readying that is
zombie...
jeeze.
yeah, it was a much longer weekend than I was expecting - Damn SFO and delaying flights.
Hell, last week on vacation, I couldn't sleep in to save my life. Kept waking up between 5 and 6 local time (which would be 7-8 home timezone) - it didn't matter how late I stayed up either.
man, that movie is old now wow!

working and watching videos

trying to figure out why the Front of House Termianals all of a sudden cant talk to the Back of house server...
Everything that I can think of that would stop communication is either set up to allow or turned off..Makes for a frustrating after noon.

this is weird. I can do a ping of the Ip Address, can go from the back office to the terminal. but not the other way
I can see it going through one hop usingtracert hostname
but its still not letting us communicate -
I seem to just hit a brick wall for energy around 3:30-4. Always try to think of ways I can still be productive during this time, but when it hits, it's almost like your mind is blank, and you can't think a thought even when you try lol.

@wrcombs sounds like a firewall/rules thing at the back office

Sounds like the firewall on the back office piece is on, or there is a firewall device between them blocking traffic from reaching the back office piece.

imaging a laptop, taking snapshot of a vm, and researching how to create a chocolatey package
