There seems to be a new trend in using Hyper-V and Windows Server completely interchangeably. Not the first post this week where someone did this. The other one, I don't think we ever learned what they meant.

Ugh, I wish.
Can't wait for Monday...first batch of UBNT gear will arrive. Ordered a bunch of fibre cables from fs.com earlier this week. Munich to Hamburg in 18 hours via UPS standard.

Waiting for the weather to finish switching to snow rather than rain. The freezing rain is always a fun time getting around in.

Just wrote a mail to pizza.de. Ordered something, got a confirmation (received by restaurant XYZ) and ... nothing. Called the restaurant a few times and finally someone picked up the phone. The guy told me that they never received the order.
Awesome to have something like pizza.de, but can't they build transactional processes which requires the restaurants to confirm an order before telling customers that their order has been received? That's not exactly rocket science.

There was a restaurant where I live it had an online order process, but then relied on fax machines to get the order to the local restaurant. It never worked well.

Writing a email to my useless ISP. Paying for fibre up to 76Mbps but 2-3 days a week it drops to 5Mbps or below! Told them to fix it or I go to trading standards to get me out of the contract as I'm not getting what I paid for!

ouch. My ISP just called me and asked if I want fibre right into my apartment. It's fibre-to-the-basement and VDSL2 from there at the moment.
Still not comparable to Korea for example.
