I hate trying to work on projects around holidays -- for that very reason!
It sucks.... but I mean I haven't had much vacation in the last 7 years and this year seems to be the same...

Cold and damp in Dallas today. Hovering just above freezing. Got my fleece on, had to close the window in my office, and drinking my coffee.
That is a perfect day. I would however leave the window open.

Rather than figuring out how I'm going to virtualize our production servers, I'm playing whack-a-mole trying to replicate problems with embedded images in E-mails.

Discovered we're paying for too much bandwidth at our co-location facility (can't be renegotiated until March); however, I believe that will mean I can soon(tm) implement backups that include an off-site copy and likely not go over our bandwidth commitment.

It's a line-item on our monthly bill rather than a separate bill. So when February comes and we look at our contract, we'll see if we need to alter our committed burstable bandwidth.

That’s crazy, we were month to month so we didn’t have termination and we have a good person negotiating with them.
