Solus is pretty awesome.
It runs respectably so far. It has an odd freeze here and there, but that's because the flash drive is USB 2.0. It just installed drivers for the Wifi on my Mac without needing internet, lol. Let's see if they work.

I tried Elementary, but the screen would start flickering and the install wouldn't complete.

Adding my lab FreePBX install onto my personal zerotier network. Kinda important if I want to add a static IP address for management access.

Correct. User = me. I've never used Sharepoint before, so I figure I can use this to poke around and learn.

In particular I'm interested to seeing how sharing works with people outside of my organization (such as having a site to possibly share files with my saxophone students).
