I just learned that SW can't install on Server 2016 yet. I had no idea.

That is interesting. I didn't know that either. I am guessing version 8 will allow that.

SW has never used either of those.

Just got some graphics put together that you all will see soon. Keep in mind, I'm terrible at graphics design, please!
Now off to meetings.

Today was "Lunch & Learn" day, which is typically a full day for us (prepare room, get food, bring in speaker, have lunch and learn, clean up, be a good host, kick host out, leave for the day).
Right now, I'm in the "be a good host" task. Speaker will typically stick around for a while in case somebody has questions and need more 1-with-1 time. If nobody has any questions, we kick out host and go home. People have questions right now.
-
@nerdydad so kick the people out and drink with the host.

@scottalanmiller YEs, that's the truth. It will run but it is not supported yet or Windows 10 for that matter.

My youngest is sick today
-
@scottalanmiller Yuck, hope she gets better. Everyone has a cold over here because of the weather change.

She'll probably be fine, she is fast asleep again.

Installing Fedora 26 with the Cinnamon desktop on my workstation. Korora was nice but honestly there was more crap than I wanted.
The final straw was that the Korora 26 upgrade broke it.
-
@jaredbusch yeah, I made the switch and have been pretty happy with Fedora direct.

Just updated the community to 1.6.1. I think that no one even noticed. It was like twenty seconds.

Spent most of the nights this week trying to get rusted or galled bolts out of the truck front end. Trying to replace the hubs and struts as the ones that are there are shot. Resorting to heat as nothing else seems to work.
I usually just pay someone to do that. Could I do it? Yes. Do I want to....HELL NO.
Mechanics aren't cheap up here. We'd be looking at 90-120$ per hour depending on where we go. Plus, as a benefit, my father restores old Volkswagens, so he has all the tools we need to get this thing in running order.
He is a pretty great fellow to work with. I am continually impressed with his stance on IT in the business - While he is dedicated 'no-nonsense' business man, he is also very practical and understanding of what is and is not possible. It's been great working with him, and I hope I can finagle a trip up to the farm before another years has slid away... I still want to come up and witness / help in the harvest...
