What Are You Doing Right Now

@scottalanmiller They're also much less expensive than SB - there were nearly riots across eastern Canada when they wanted to raise prices on coffee by more than 10 cents
-
There are Tim Horton's stores all over Columbus, OH. I believe that that is the last major southwestern outpost of the chain at this point. But given how many are there, Cincinnati will be soon. There are already a handful there.

Less expensive is minor. Open 24x7 and with good food is a huge boost. Better coffee, 24x7, cheaper, with actual food. It blows SB away.

I love their breakfast wraps and missed seeing them and DDs all over every corner while in Texas. Down there it's all Subway and Starbucks...sad really...

So it's like a less sketchy waffle house?

Don't mention Tim Horton's in the same sentence as Waffle House!

With clean bathrooms. Driving across Canada it's basically the best place to.... #2.

And they keep expanding their food menu most of them here also have a ColdStone Creamery in them. I do business lunches there often coffee, soup and a sandwhich and free wifi. Gets me out of my house every once in awhile.

No. WH is a diner. A very American diner. TH is a coffee shop. It's clean and bright and high end, like Starbucks. Not sketchy in the least. Very classy. You have business meetings there. You bring your MacBook and pretend to be a hipster. You get a muffin and drink coffee all morning.

I've been spoiled with real cafe Americano, Starbucks doesn't cut it. I've had Lavazza in Italy. I've had Cafe New York in Tuscany!!

Exactly. The baristas at SB don't know how to make coffee and they burn the crap out of it. It tastes nothing like a real cafe Americano. No one working at a SB has ever had proper coffee or they'd know that it was all screwed up.

@scottalanmiller Best of bad options

I'm trying to remember Tim Horton's.. I was thinking it was a sit down place like Denny's?

There are seats, but it is more cafe.
