What Are You Doing Right Now

I'd go for inside the box thinking.
Sadly I have to admit that I fall for it more often that I would like to admit.
In this case it appears rational to ask - Hey this says it's a limit of 4 TB - how is this limit arrived at?
Of course logically, we understand that from a general understanding RAID 1 has no limit other than the amount of storage provided in the smaller drive of a two drive setup (This assumes that someone's inappropriately using two different sized drives).
But then we see this listed limitation - 4 TB - suddenly we are - WTF? why is there a 4 TB limit? What does this mean? So the question gets asked.
While I understand the vendors need to put a number on the box, the number itself is what allows this rabbit hole to be open in the first place.
This isn't inside the box thinking, though. Inside the boxers don't ask it. The stated limitation provides the limit. He created a new limitation that doesn't exist and then expected someone to document something that doesn't exist. It's seeking the negative or something like that.
It's like me suddenly being upset that no one has produced proof that potatoes can't fly. Yet no one thought that they did. So we are confused by the question.

@scottalanmiller Didn't someone say that your roommate is hot? Give her my number...

Alas, I've been dismissed from jury duty.

Oh, shucks. I wanted to be ripped out of my life to make $100/day to judge somebody else.

Actually, I want to serve. I'm 0/2 so far. For my county is $30 / day :P.

Dell R710s have got to be the absolute slowest servers to boot up...

I think the T620 at our office is a good contender.

I'd have to see it to believe anything could be slower.

Had a Lenovo server at my last job that was silly slow. I never clocked it but you didn't want to go down in the middle of the day.
-
I mean just to get past the BIOS / hardware initialization part... after that it only has to boot Hyper-V Server which is super fast.

Is that mapping commits and code trees?

This morning made a Windows server. Still doing the first round of updates.
-
Installing Freepbx 14 on my vultr test instance. Taking forever.
-
Finally finished. I ought to have put a timer on it, but it took about an hour on the Vultr $5.00 instance (1 vcpu, 1 GB RAM)
