What Are You Doing Right Now

@hobbit666 Can't find it now, but seem to recall seeing a similar issue posted on the Citrix forums. I believe the issue was that there are some hidden files that didn't get copied over to the installation media.

I always like to ask "what happened to those past reports".

VMware not getting the love today. It is ridiculous that they can't handle passwords over 20 chars.

@travisdh1 If it handled 27 characters, then I'd be set: monkey123monkey123monkey123

Looks like I missed the sneak premiere of the new season of Rick and Morty, but it looks like it will be streaming on adultswim.com for a minute...

I've never seen that show at all.
It's one of my favorite shows. Deep concept sci-fi, improvised parts, written by Dan Harmon... all that adds up to awesome in my book.

Rick and Morty is probably one of my favorites as well. It can definitely be an acquired taste though.

User: We need to find a file about [possible subject] created in 2015. We don't know any part of a file name nor where the file could be located.
Me: . . . .
[45 minutes later]Me: Here's what I found.
User: This looks like what I need. Thank you!
Me (internally): So I've just set a precedence that I can find anything using absolute minimal amount of information. /sigh

@thanksajdotcom I'm happy I was able to find something, for it greatly helps the user + exec on a call that's happening in an hour; however, I can't help but take a step back and say "damn, do you realize what you're requesting?"

My favorite was my first real IT job. We were upgrading machines from XP to 7 (this was in 2012) and it was a bond-trading desk. They used Act! 2000 and it wasn't a licensed product but we didn't have the installer. I managed to use Google and some regex to find the installer buried on some FTP server online and it worked! A month later, I was able to, barely, replicate finding it, and now have no idea how I found it in the first place besides persistence and luck. Lol

I need a thing! No, I can't describe it or give you any details...I just need it! Oh, and I needed it two hours ago. Can you help me?!

For anyone who decides to watch Rick and Morty S3E1 a bit of an inside joke from those of us in the know.

@thanksajdotcom I lucked out that the file was named something useful (not like prototype1.x), so it could be identified.
