Are you moving across state lines, or just a few towns over? Are both insured? $400 difference is a pretty big amount of money.
-
They are both insured with license #'s and everything

More importantly, 40% seems like a big jump.
-
So if they are both insured, and have a promise of work, why not save the $400 and go with the lower cost shipper?
-
Yeah I guess. I looked up the lower estimate in the better business bureau and they have only been a company for a few years. The higher has been around for decades.

Was thinking about upgrading my XenServer to latest 7.1 build

Did also look to see if I can grab two machines to play with XOSAN

Don't trust the BBB it's a known scam that companies pay into to get complaints off of their record. It's an extortion racket for businesses.

Might want to review this.

$600 and $1000 - what are these guys evening doing for you? Those numbers seem potentially low - but then again, I've actually never hired a moving company, and I'm sure they mostly employ people who make just over min wage... so.. Assuming 50% overhead to the company, $500 in wages, at let's assume $12/hr that's approx 40 man hours of moving time. I suppose that could be right.

Moving furniture and boxes. Unfortunately my friends moved all across the country so this is the first time I don't have another guy to help me.

Have to agree. BBB reviews are worthless or worse... misleading.

I don't trust any reviews. I was just comparing the information they have about when it opened to what the owner said when he came to our place. Just being as safe as I can be.

That's what we are saying. BBB has no access to special info, their info could be completely misleading. They are not your friends, they are your enemy. The BBB is in the business of misleading you, so the safest thing to do is to avoid them. Their misinformation could drive you to avoid a good company.
