What Are You Doing Right Now

I'm wondering if it's too early for beer....
-
Riding the bus back to Palermo. Spent the day in the little mountain village that @dominica's family is from.

It's Beer-Thirty somewhere.
-
Trying to meet up with @Francesco-Provino who just landed.
-
Sitting at my desk, contemplating storage options/planning (among other work-related things), snacking on walnuts and pitted dates.
-
Discussing the sorry state of IT training.
-
What does TP normally cost in the US? I never look at the price. But I just bought a ten pack of it here in Italy and it was $1.30.
That seems insanely cheap.
-
@scottalanmiller That is indeed insanely cheap.

$8-$11 here. That is very cheap.

Well in the US we have double ply and triple ply and quilted and septic safe and SUPER soft and SUPER jump rolls etc. So depends.
Crappy normal single ply is bout $2 for a 12 pack
-
@Minion-Queen Single ply? What are we animals?

The rolls are not jumbo, but it is the super soft extra quilted stuff. I can't only be so specific when requesting it here, I have some Italian but certainly not "differentiate between toilet paper types" level of Italian, so they only sell me the most expensive stuff at the tabacchi.

@wirestyle22 I like wiping with 40-grit sand paper

Definitely gets things clean.
-
Toiler paper is purely an unnecessary thing here. They give you a hose to clean things off with quite a lot of pressure. You just dry with the TP.
-
@scottalanmiller reminds of me demolition man. "He doesn't know how to use the three seashells"
Edit: I have no idea why this triggered this specific memory

You said it before I did.

Discussing the state of IT buyer training.
More accurate I think.
