Attempted to get Mist.io installed on CentOS7 via the buildout procedure. Kept running into errors, so I installed Docker, then the Mist.io Docker image. That was painless. Next to add some servers to Mist to see what I can do!
Did you document what errors you came across while trying to install to CentOS?
Scott performed that install the other day (I think) and didn't announce any issues.
No, I've not installed it yet.
Ah, I must confused.
I was testing the hosted functionality. I'd like to get it installed, though.
Oh, that must be what I was thinking of.

There were some issues in a couple of the files if you pulled from the Git repo. It should be fixed in a couple of weeks.

I sincerely love to block website paywalls with uBlock... Many sites are trying to make them clever now, which warms my heart even more when I right-click and select "block element".

The build out seemed to go OK, but when attempting to start the service, I would get this error:
import error no module named six
Googling mentioned that it has to do with python, and perhaps dependencies, but all dependencies were installed, as well as the specific python-six module.

@fuznutz04 that's a bit odd
-
@scottalanmiller yeah, I tried rebooting and even re-building mist from scratch, but had the same result.
