What Are You Doing Right Now
-
I've driven Manhattan and I would take that over Washington, D.C., Boston or Pittsburgh any day. I've lived in two of those and drove there all of the time and it was terrifying. I drive Brooklyn and Queens and the Bronx (all NYC) regularly and while traffic is annoying it isn't scary at all.
-
Let me warn you, nothing in Manhattan or anywhere in the US will prepare you for the high speed, crazy European driving. Italy was effing crazy! Tight roads, steep roads, cliffs, no rails, full speed roundabouts and zippers and traffic control is just a suggestion. It works but you have to be brave, confident and totally in control.

Manhattan was nothing for driving. You should really make sure you KNOW where you are going before heading out there. Don't just rely on a GPS to get you where you need to go. After living in Republic of Congo for a year. There is nothing that really scares me now

Except for returning from the Congo.

I worked with someone last week from Zimbabwe! Her family had been there for about ten generations as farmers who had immigrated there from France.

Very true that trip home was hellish.

61 degrees out there. About to go for a half hour walk.
-
Just got into the office. Nice two mile walk through the city and getting ready to start the day. Odd as it is already afternoon back home.
-
About to go for a walk around some of San Francisco, just to get a feel for the local neighbourhood. It's a pretty nice area. I love, love, love that Whole Foods is literally across the street. That makes life very convenient.
-
Still not as good as Wegmans, though I do like Whole Foods.
-
Trying to pack and about to sign off for a couple days as I disassemble my beautiful workstation setup...

Yup, leaving tonight. Thinking I might stop for lunch in Alabama tomorrow and see @krisleslie

Cool, that makes for a good drive before stopping. You could swing through Mississippi on the way and hang with @Hubtech as you go through too.
