New thermostat is in and we have a working furnace! From what we can tell, the renters broke the furnace two or three years ago and didn't know or something. It definitely just kicked on correctly for the first time in a very long time. We have heat again.

Heading out to Texas via Canada to go to Michigan to see @mike-Ralston and @fiyafly only because of a freak of nature that going South would mean a snowier drive then going North to go South.

My wisdom teeth grew in impacted. I am going to need to get them removed in the very near future. I asked Laura to video tape me when I'm all loopy on drugs. I hear this is extremely painful so I'm not looking forward to it but it's a necessity.

Every time this happens here every old person goes for the bread eggs and milk. Sometimes they don't even normally buy this stuff. It's insanity.
