We did both. Prior to our wedding we were married by a town official, it was easier then doing it all the same day, and much cheaper. We then got "married" by my uncle at this beautiful farm down the road. ~150 people attended and the overall expense was much cheaper then I had originally expected... although we did pull a few favors from some local friends/business owners. We wouldn't do anything differently the perfect party/wedding.
This is what I am considering actually. We have a small wedding of 90. It's hard to plan for that few because every venue has a minimum. @Minion-Queen should require @scottalanmiller to get ordained as a service to ML members

Not sure how that would work... He moves more than a rodeo clown at the rodeo.

I've totally thought about that before. I mentioned it a few weeks ago. I love weddings so it would be perfect.

I'm putting this out there: You get ordained and I promise I will actually have you do this. I'll even record a live video of it for ML

Tearing out my office of all equipment, desks, workstations, and tools. In prep for a move.
From where to where?
My office is getting a facelift, and some bigger space.... and then a kid is moving into it. Lol
I will be getting a larger office but will have to share it now. Lol
Of course that's after I finish all the construction work first.
-
Visiting my aunt and uncle, tasting some very rare single malts. At the moment an Octave, yearly production is just 80 bottles.
-
Sitting at the Evening Star Concert Hall in Niagara FAlls NY waiting for the band to setup and sound check.
-
Nothing like working late Friday and Saturday as well.... people kinda want to get paid on payday tho.
-
@Dashrender found me on Twitter. Had a "who are you?" moment.
-
Which I see as a good thing. I don't like having my online services/presences directly linked.
-
I'm searching through old bookmarks while updating a couple of my home servers... I found one I had totally forgotten about, that seems like it may be a (hairbrained, never do this in production) fun idea to try.
The short version is it's doing RAID 5 over the network between disk images stored on 3 different servers, powered by mdadm... and turning it into an iSCSI target... essentially creating a poor man's shared storage, lol.
The trick will be recognizing that a machine is back online and automatically repairing the RAID setup.

Heading out to a bar in Carrollton.

Heading out of the bed right now. Long night with many good single malts. I guess my wife needs to drive back home

Just got home from hitting the bars.
