I don't need support. I need to activate Windows 10.
Run "slui /4" from a elevated run or cmd window. It'll bring up the phone activation screen. Try that and get back to me.
Doesn't activate. Then I have to talk to Level 1 techs who confirm my Product ID, and have to transfer me to tech support.
Where it rings for 7 or 8 times, and then says "we are unable to take your call. please try again later" and hangs up.

Well that's annoying...

There is a difference?
Yes.
Support is how do I use notepad.
Activating Windows 10 is ... hey I purchased this license and it's not working, get it working.

Um... that's all support. In fact, if anything you have it backwards. Asking how you use notepad is requesting training, not support. Asking them to support their own broken product is as support as support gets.

Just finished up another Linux Mint 18 install, as well. That is one sweet looking OS. And ZeroTier works on it!

Can you dual boot MINT and Windows 10 easily?

You and your technicalities.

My five year old just dropped off a walkie talkie at my desk, ran away and a minute later it chimes on and I get "I love you, so much!"
-
@scottalanmiller It's stuff like that which makes me want to have kids. It's everything else that frightens me

They really are not scary. I have two, both girls and even when I watch them alone it's not scary at all. They are just fun and sweet.

Found out today we are getting two new Isilon clusters. Haven't had a chance to play with them before so this will be nice.

First-aid for my wife who was attacked by... well, from what I understood it must have been an elephant-mosquito. Or more like a brontosaur-mosquito. At least.

Everything okay? No allergies or anything?

So question... how long is pasta good? We just found some pasta in the cupboard that we think is over twenty years old. Still good?

I wouldn't mind eating pasta that's 2 years old, but 20? Let's see what Google says

So "Stiftung Warentest", more or less a publicly funded testing institution here, says it's basically ok to eat them as long as they have been kept dry. Be cautious with whole-grain pasta, it won't last as long.
I would probably not eat 20 years old noodles, but bon appetit

It was not encouraging.
