@Minion-Queen awesome. How is he liking it?
He really liked it. We watched the movie and he got my new desktop setup. I am now getting all programs downloaded so I can just work tomorrow.

Working from home - Punched out my mileage from the last two days, running a MS patches and adding user accounts.
Had a surprise from my phone guy - seems a site got struck by lightning. They got away easy in that the only thing he had to due was replace the cable end. It was shorted so that when you went to make a call it picked up both lines and tried to use both to make a call, which confused people...
Simple fix,.. but would have taken me a while to find as I never would have thought to look at the plugs....

Don't try to make hot buttered rum, it was an interesting experiment and I am glad that we did it but it is not the delicious treat that it sounds like. Maybe one of the recipes that are made with ice cream would be better, one can only hope. But the standard recipe, at least, isn't sweet enough, is way, way too buttery and is actually thick. It's not like mulled cider which is what a lot of people picture in their heads, I think.
It is a quarter stick of butter per serving. Think about that. Drinking a quarter stick of butter, plus a lot of sugar that's been boiled into a caramel sauce, in one cup of drink!

I just felt my arteries hardening

It has been a busy week, I am calling it a night. We watched White Christmas and then, completely unrelated, we watched Tomb Raider. The kids are in bed with their iPads. Time to catch some shut eye. See y'all tomorrow.

You really feel like that as you drink it. And there are so many spices that you feel the need to chew. The cinnamon and cloves and nutmeg get caught in your teeth and with how think the butter is it just makes you feel the need to move your jaw as you drink it. It was all a bit much.
-
It is no wonder Bing Crosby says "light on the butter." He wasn't kidding. You think that that is a reference to wanting more alcohol. NOOOO. He just means... lay off the butter so that it doesn't kill me.
-
What would it be like if you tip the syrup over pop corn (minus the rum) and then drink the rum separately?
-
I think over ice cream would be good.

Attempting to writing down a theological concept that I hadn't ever really considered before today.
Hope I can get the concept in my head down into words. -

Yes, you may.
It's regarding Christian people losing salvation due to them not forgiving others (e.g. holding a grudge). That's all I'll say about it in a thread. Happy to chat about it but I'm not finished working on it yet.
