I need to do something about the platters building up around here. The other bits get recycled.
I'd really like to build a small forge and melt the platters. Still don't know what to do with the flash bits tho.

Could be, but there's a typo in the title. Space between S and W, so it would be poor marketing.
Or they did that intentionally to make it seem "real". But I'm a lifelong cynic.

Someone I know is moving downstate and so I was able to pick up basically a full set of pots and pans and a crockpot (5qt), all basically brand new, for $22 yesterday! WHOOP WHOOP!

when you put a bunch of stuff into a forge to melt it and there's some unwanted crap it's called dross or slag
burn it all and let gravity sort it out

Shredder. That is what I do with my drives. The service that shreds the paper for one of my clients accepts drives.
