I'm trying to translate a Lease for an office in Spain.
The lease is in Spanish...... now if it were me who was looking at leasing a place overseas, I'd demand the lease be provided in English.
None of this "oh you have to translate it crap".
You'll probably find that only leases in Spanish or in Catalon or Basque are legal.
That's fine, but to have someone sign off on it, in Spanish, without understanding it is likely just as illegal. It needs to be understood by both parties.
Not how it works with a contract in most legalities because it is 100% optional for you and your responsibility to understand it. So that you don't bother to read it or don't bother to have it translated is purely your issue. Making you understand the language of the land isn't their problem. If you sign it and don't understand it, that's totally on you.
That is my point @scottalanmiller "we" didn't have it translated back in 2009 or whenever it was. So I've been asked to try and translate it now.
Which to me is insane. We should have a copy of it in english so we can review it at any time, without these hoops to jump through

You should have a summary in English. You need the original in Spanish and a Spanish attorney. You don't want a translation getting a legal document wrong. That's why no one ever does documents like this in two languages - which one is the master when they don't perfectly agree?
The real question is, where is your attorney and why is someone in IT handling both foreign language AND legal duties? And for a different country than that with which they are familiar.

Thank you, I wanted to immediately say that (in bold)

I've actually reached the point where I can do daily/weekly maintenance on everything, manage cisco voip to a level where i can accomplish tasks given to me, EMR to the same level as cisco (not custom templates yet) and I've also been taking a look at our VM Host machine. Besides the two migrations from 2003 to 2012 (Domain and File Server) I noticed one of my hard drives is almost full. I think the memory is almost capping as well--enough to stop me from creating another VM anyway.

Sounds like it's time to add more RAM... or get bigger servers!

It might be. There are some VM's listed that I don't know about. I could potentially free some of those resources. We'll see.

Maybe he should setup a Zabbix Server to get some statistical performance metrics before investing money.
You have a guide somewhere, right @dafyre ?

First day on the new job. Doing support for a small division of a much larger company. It's me and one other guy locally. Pretty cool.

We were actually already talking about that in a PM

My git server is being stubborn this morning... It would seem that I missed the expiring cert emails from Letsencrypt, lol.

Just back from taking my seven year old to the dentist. Had her molars sealed and one cavity filled.

Yeah.
Pfft dads are stupid.
Oh crap, I'm a dad!

@BRRABill I sure hope so. This is going to push this project back at least a 1 or 2.

I'm livid at the moment and in complete disbelief that I have to explain the difference between scheduled down time, and downtime.
How one is "you plan for it to take X long, if it's shorter great. If the full length no one gives a crap."
The other is "our systems are down at unplanned time, fix it quickly"
