Making a WD NAS as backup destination for Unitrends to backup some "none" critical VM's

T- 16:00 for SpaceX Falcon 9 launch.
-
What is the mission of this launch?
-
EUTELSAT
For this mission, SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket will deliver two commercial communications satellites to Geostationary Transfer Orbits (GTO). The two satellites, EUTELSAT 117 West B and ABS-2A, are operated respectively by Eutelsat and ABS – two companies that provide global communications services to a variety of users

Well, flagged another question:
ISA was superseded by ForeFront TMG and UAG years ago which both are EOL with no replacement at all. IMHO, having a proxying frontend (Postfix, Exim, Courier or even sendmail) somewhere "outside" (cloud / off-site / DMZ) is way better than letting someone connect directly to your Exchange. Got roughly 10% bad answers overall at SW - and in 90% of these cases it's about bad questions.
-
Stage one landing failed. Payloads successfully delivered to geosynchronous orbit.

@JaredBusch the RUD should make for some cool footage when it is released.

Yes, and that is something I like about SpaceX. They always do release it.

Nice to see some other Elon Musk fanboys. I'm alone where I live sadly.

The video game system is being packed up. You know we are really leaving when that happens.

He's an interesting character that's for sure. I like that he's doing it but it saddens me that we need such a character to make this sort of progress.

He's definitely a weirdo, and I imagine he's kind of a douche in person, but I support what he does 1000%. Richard Branson too, as the 2 of them are leading the privatization of the space industry (IMO the only way it will survive and progress). If I had a quarter million to piss away, I'd buy a ticket on Branson's space plane, just to help advance the commercial space flight industry.

Just finished up a minor 'kill time' project.
Using parts from Amazon and Adafruit, took a 18650 cell and turned it into a battery booster. Right side is the charger that will also have a port for using Solar. Left side boosts to charge any USB device... Switched to reduce battery drain when not in use.

Looking good. Two comments:
- You should add some tubes to the switch. A bit much of tin solder. Next to a short circuit
- Your GND connection on the module on the right side of the picture (BAT -) doesn't look too great.
-
@gjacobse 3D print a case for that bad boy

If only someone would ship me a printer, and plenty of consumables....

We're just in the process of buying one. First thing to print will be a stand for the official 7" Raspberry Pi displays.

Yeah, was just what I saw when I had a quick look at it. Anyway, good idea and the result looks like it will do the job.

@gjacobse Looks awesome man! I need to clean up my work bench and dig into some of this stuff again. Once the good weather hits I struggle to work on any of my projects.
