@scottalanmiller We're seeing an effect in EDU some of us call bulimia-nervosa-learning. Memorizing as much as possible right before an exam and forgetting everything the very second after. Maybe that's related to this.

There is a term for it? I thought that that was just "American education." /s
Only half /s actually. /hs

@scottalanmiller Sadly enough, we eventually found a term for it...

Hey @joy, haven't seen you in a while!
Just catching some sleep during day time and night shift makes me busy.
You know the other reasons hehe -

Hey @Joy!
Hello there, how are you guys?
Doing okay today... Brain isn't wanting to work today, but other than that, I'm just peachy.
Brain is on holiday mode but I don't have any booked.
Hahaha coffee will fix everything.
-
Oh coffee, I forgot. I'll go look if a pot was made.

About to finish work and head off to see Springsteen
First time since 1988.
-
You need to finish your work more often!
-
Where is he playing?

I've had one good experience and several bad ones. They offered zero support on the Mac Server, if you remember. The only good thing that support did was outright admit that the product was garbage, being dropped and that Apple lacked the engineering to support it. So we got our money back for the client. But they weren't able to actually support it.

Now I remember why I don't use PuTTY very much. I can't stand the right click to paste .

Much faster to ctrl+shift+v. I don't have to move my hands.

ha kind of funny, but I'm serious too. If I SSH into a bunch of machines, it's much easier to copy paste that way than to move my mouse around and then need to right click every time I want to paste something. Esp for tasks like I'm doing now, where I have to do the same thing on like 20 different machines, but it's not worth doing a script for because it's such a rarity that I'll ever do it again.
