Just back from dinner. Grocery stores were all closed for the holiday.

Well yesterday was Easter, today was the Easter "day off from work".

Debating what to do with the cheese sticks I bought 4 hours ago at lunch and inadvertently left on my desk instead of putting in the fridge.

Probably just gonna toss them.
I'm funny with food.
I'm funny with a lot of stuff, but particularly warm food and leftovers.

Four hours is nothing. My kids take that long to eat them initially!

Cheese does not go bad that quickly. American businesses advertising "freshness" have blinded you to reality.

Same with mayo. You can leave mayo out all day, not a problem. It turns yellow, of course, and that doesn't look good, but it is safe to eat.

Cheese can't go bad that quickly.... it sits for months just to turn into cheese initially!!

I'll leave the cheese in the fridge for @JaredBusch and @scottalanmiller

There seems to be a bit of a flap in the media surrounding Radiohead deleting their online presence, rumours abound that it could be for an upcoming new album...
or...
It could simply be that they got haxed and pwned in the worst way possible.I'm going with the latter
-
I heard it was a desperate attention grab. Lots of people complaining about them trying to play to the hipster crowd.
-
Never saw/understood the hype around Radiohead...they always seemed a bit "meh" to me...
OT: Getting started for the week ahead...

I honestly don't know who they are other than some lame mainstream media-promoted band. They always had this air of losers about them, now that is cemented forever in a combination of "they no longer appear to exist" and "I was never sure who they were but the mental image that I have of them is that they are very lame."
-
I should say... my impression of them is "generi-band." Just an indistinguishable band that wasn't good enough to have music that people would know. Or that people not into that specific genre would know. What genre is that? No idea, they weren't big enough for me to know what kind of music they made. But whatever it was, they weren't big enough to break through the barriers of obscurity for those of us not into whatever genre that was.
My guess is that being famous enough to have their name known but not famous enough to be serious stars maybe they wanted to just be forgotten so they tried to erase themselves.
Although.. it's just erasing their own contributions. So, I have no idea what the point would be. Unless they are just ashamed of themselves.
