Running the update scripts for everything. Now that I've got ZeroTier I don't need to make the 3 mile drive
How is ZT saving you a 3 mile drive? lol
I've got command line access to the remote server now. The connection is only 700k/150k DSL, and the best RDP client ever doesn't mean that remote support is possible over that connection. ZT just makes getting a VPN up and running so very much easier than anything I've tried before. @Dashrender I'm using ZT into the jumpbox vm, so I can hit the backup SamSD and host.
That's a lot of work just to connect to a jump box, lol. You could punch a hole in your firewall for it.
ALthough you have now made it easier to add more devices to connect to by using ZT... No hole punching through the firewall required.
If I can avoid punching holes in firewalls, even for a single box, it's worth it.

Ori and the Blind Forest is on sale 50% off ($9.99--Steam). I think it's a great game for anyone. I know you just recently purchased a ton of games but if you didn't pick that up I definitely suggest you do. Happy gaming!

Looking for the thread(s?) about IT education and where to start (Why is there no baseline for IT education?).
- HA! Found it - http://www.mangolassi.it/topic/2932/is-there-no-base-of-it-knowledge/2?page=1
- still looking for some "where to start" type links
I've been asked to talk to some students about working in IT and I am looking for a few links to point them in the right direction.

Interesting app. Similar to many others but it's written with Electron.

It's so hot where I am that even the wasps are taking shelter in the shade.
Some are residing by/on doors. One of them seems particularly agro. -

It's on the wishlist to watch for. $10 is a lot for a game of that type for us. We have 1200 games so we aren't in a rush to bulk up the library, lol. I have nearly 250 games on the wishlist and watch it daily to make sure that we don't miss a sale.

And they'll learn how to drive in the snow when there's maybe 1 week left of winter.

Whats to learn? Low gear, high revs, and stick some screws into your tyres for extra grip...

So I never put it together before, but I can use my Nexus 5 to unlock my Chromebook with the smart lock stuff. That's pretty cool.

Why doesn't Java work with the system certificates? Why do I need to install certificates into Java for SSL to work?
