Worked on stove pipe all weekend with my Father-in-law. Then hung out in Pittsburgh for several hours Saturday evening. Not a bad weekend.

It's sleeting here now... Rain or snow.. OK sky!!! RAIN OR SNOW!

Had a really weird dream last night about MangoCon. Gorgeous day here today, right and clear after all of the storm yesterday.

It is 55 now and supposed to be almost 70 today here with some but it is December 14th in Western NY.

63 in the condo, so I'm guessing barely over 50 outside.

I predict that Christmas Day will be Sunny, in the high 60's to mid 70's for Both Georgia and New York.
Now we see if I'm right...

We got our flights booked yesterday. Everything is "set in stone" now. I'll be on my way to Turkey on December 30th!! Can't wait. Only a layover en route to Athens, but at least I get to see Istanbul out of the window.

I am reasonably certain that Christmas Day will be like that down here in the south. Up there around you guys... Eh... I could flip a coin and still get it right, lol.

I'll actually be living much closer than Istanbul, we are moving to Crete. VERY far south of Istanbul. We actually considered flying through Qatar because of their awesome flight connections but had to opt against it both because Qatar does not offer long layovers (we'd want a day or two in the country to explore like Norwegian and Irish airlines offer) and the extra flight time would be terrible for our little kids.

It's on our list to visit for sure, I really want to tour the country. Turkish Airlines is the top airlines for connecting from Texas (Houston) to Europe. So we will be going through often, we suspect. We will be back in Istanbul in mid-June.

So it turns out that all of that smoke and stuff from the volcanoes in Nicaragua that we saw was real: http://mashable.com/2015/12/03/nicaragua-momotombo-eruption/
