I find myself just needing the internet and ssh a lot anymore. So they're perfect for that.

If you know where the alarm panel is, there should be a way to find that out if you have a analog phone with clips.. just patch in.

@gjacobse just attach speakers to your computer. I think it may be capable of playing mp3's, and you should be somewhere near your computer most of the day today.
