Playing around with docker and ansible. Just spun up 5 drupal containers in about 10 seconds (not including creating the playbook).
Nice. Are you using hosted Ansible Tower or are you using a self hosted open source version?
Self hosted. I just installed it on my laptop to play around with.

Any good "why Ansible instead of Chef" stuff?

It's super easy. I played with chef a while ago (not much at all). This took literally minutes to run and learn. In less than an hour from installing I had a playbook so I could update a few webservers.

Nice. I've been hearing good things about Ansible. But have only gotten time to play with Chef and cfEngine.

puppet really seems to have lost steam too.

I haven't heard many people talking about it recently.
I think ansible will be exploding since Red Hat bought them. I wonder if it will end up replacing satellite?
-
Seriously, though, some Ansible walk throughs would be very well received. What platform are you running it on?

Yeah, they are hot the fast track now! No, not replacing Satellite, integrating with it, I suspect. Puppet was already integrated with it. Ansible will just replace Puppet there, is my theory.

Ok sounds good. I'll do some when I get some more time.
Fedora 23 and docker was on a CentOS 7 VM on my hypervisor.
-
Nice, playing with the absolute latest there
-
I did find a weird issue. If anyone else decides to install Docker on CentOS 7, if you just do yum install docker it should pull in the docker-selinux package but it didn't for me and some others. You won't be able to start docker with SELinux enabled if you don't have that package. You'll have to do a yum reinstall docker-selinux and then it will start.
