What Are You Doing Right Now

Don't show that to my wife, she will demand that we get it for sure. Dr. Who and coffee are two of her favourite things.

Updating Server/Network documentation. Ugh...
Could be worse. You could be trying to decipher incomplete and poorly written documentation.
True, that's what I had when I started Now I can only blame myself if that's the case...
I'm working on doing a proper documentation
Good morning people

Just got back from dinner, and of course the Mac crashed while we were gone. I think that I average Firefox crashing nearly once per hour of use and the Mac as a whole once to twice a day restarting itself completely because it crashes so hard.
-
Getting up and ready to drive today. Have to return to the condo. No more hanging out in Panama City.
-
Have a safe trip!
-
Just finished breakfast, heading down to the car. Rio Hato, here we come.
-
Grandia II from the Dreamcast just released in an anniversary edition for the PC!
-
Out of freaking no where I just got super sad / nostalgic for my old dog. Seen below in full winter coat, covered in saw dust, as loud noises and filth were insufficient to get him to move away from my Dad and I.
-
And the Mac crashed again. This time the screen just froze. The mouse stopped moving, all keyboard input stopped. Had to power cycle it.
This is literally the least stable computer I have any memory of having used.
-
@MattSpeller You have no idea how freakish that picture is to me... Not because of the glowing eyes... But I had a dog that looked almost exactly like yours -- even down to the white splotch on his chest!
-
@scottalanmiller You need to put it out to pasture and get a new Laptop.... or install Windows on it and see if that doesn't fix the problem.
-
@scottalanmiller Are you using OSX on it or have you nuked it to a windows box?

I can't go to Windows. It IS going to be OSX.
-
@scottalanmiller My boss also rocks the mac's and she's forever complaining about crashing / reboots.
Anecdotal evidence at best but interesting none the less.
-
@scottalanmiller Why OS X? You have all those nice and shiney Steam / GOG / Origin games just calling your name!
But seriously... I quit with OS X around version 10.8 (MountainLion?)... Everything after that has just been painfully slow for me, and in general just flat out doesn't work well. (I know a lot of people who have it and love it, but that has not been my experience at all.

If I recall correctly it is a Change.org laptop that he has to do development on.

And I can only assume they have added something to it causing the unstable issues. Prior to moving to Chicago, I was on site at various clients at least 3 days a week using my MacBook Pro exclusively and I never have these kinds of problems.
