Okay, we got it figured out. Works well, but is not intuitive.
You go to "New Conversation" and then you have to just make a new for a new conversation. Only then can you add people to it. Totally works, just.... why would you ever think to do that?
I've seen the updater do that sort of thing before with NextCloud updates. The system always puts itself into maintenance mode to actually do the update, so if there is a hitch in it's update, you have to go change it back to normal mode.
I generally complete the update using the command line process if I run into an issue with the web page method.
This was only an app update, though. I've seen it with NC updates.
@coliver Ive enabled this application on my NC just now.
I ave downloaded the NC app for my phone.
Where do I go to start using it? I see no options to start a chat or voice/video call.
Perhaps there is some configuration I need to do
