High-tech toilet seats: no hands or paper required
-
Here is my eldest daughter playing with bath toys in a bidet in Piemonte, Italy. Some Norwegian friends of ours set this up for her so that she could play
-
@scottalanmiller .Cute
-
Someday she is going to be SO embarrassed by that picture.
-
@scottalanmiller Ya think?! That's not very nice showing the world your daughter playing in the toilet!

No, it's a bidet as the thread said.

I think you are confused. A bidet is not a toilet. This is why all Americans need to travel more. If you did what you plan to do in there people would be horrified. That's what Italians use to wash their feet!!
-
@scottalanmiller o.0 Does poo not enter and leave from it?

LMAO. No. It's a wash basin. It goes next to a toilet, not instead of.
-
@scottalanmiller so they really have a basin for washing feet..
-
@Joyfano Hi Joy!
-
@Bob-Beatty hello Sir
-
@scottalanmiller Ah ok, my mistake.
-
I can attest to this, Scott is right, it's pretty common in hotels to see the foot washing station right next to the toilet. Seems weird to me to have a dedicated sink for your feet But when sandals are the norm....
-
@Dashrender I remember i saw foot washing station in Hotel here in Philippines. I thought it is dedicated for the people from Middles East.
-
I would love bidets to take off in the US. Or hi-tech combo toilets. Bathrooms should go paperless!

Save the environment and trees and all that stuff!
-
Not just the trees but the process of the waste would be better if there was no paper to deal with.

Yes. Very common practice in Italy. That's why Italian bidets spray out and not up like French ones.
