At this point, whatever you can find in stock.

Exactly. I've purchased a few Taotuo cameras from Amazon (about all i could find) one was OK, the other was crap.

Good luck finding much of anything.

We've been using Logitech C920 and they've been good. But we got them before corona.

Those do not exist now, for reasonable prices at least..

Ok. I didn't realize supply was still that tight. I thought it had loosened some. I'll see what I can find then and hope for the best.

Logitech is always solid. Don't know if Microsoft still makes them, but they were good, too.

                  C920

Yep, The Logitech 920 is awesome. Not a very wide angle, but for one person at a desk, it is perfect, and crystal clear. I use the Microsoft one as well. I still use this one at my home office. https://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-LifeCam-Cinema-Webcam-Business/dp/B004ABQAFO It's old, but does the trick.

@Dashrender Yeah, but for the cost and if you needed one. Certainly not going to spend ~$100 on a logitech webcam atm, lol.

You can't buy a Logitech camera for $100 right now. That is normal price.

I saw a C920 for $97 on amazon when I was looking, and the prices went up that much?! I remember these things being $40 or so at most - granted I haven't looked for a webcam in a very long time.

/sarcasm chatroulette users aren't so picky about the resolution...

@DustinB3403 ~$100 was the cost everywhere last summer (2019) when I bought mine.
