I'm struggling to find real pricing on their page. I'm sure the service is generally fine. But without a compelling value, and I see nothing on the site of any value specifically, the bigger players like Skyetel, Twilion, and voip.ms seem to have all of the functionality and experience, and I don't see a lower price here to make me want to go to an upstart at higher cost. It's certainly competitive and seems good overall, but not good enough to warrant choosing it, just keeping it as a second tier player.

I was just curious if anyone has tested Amazon Chime Business Calling recently. Pricing seems to come in at half of what Voip.ms charges.

So if half of voip.ms, that's still way, way over Skyetel. Just saying.

Haven't tried skyetel yet. Are their discounted rates for reseller signups only? I know there was a link somewhere on here for the signup.

It's "reseller pricing", but not just for resellers (none of us are resellers.) They are so good, it's hard to come up with any reason to use anyone else in the US/Canada.

We keep voip.ms, for Mexico and Panama only, though.

I know I've asked this previously but is Skyetel a better option than Voip.ms? Or do you still use Voip.ms as a failover option?

Dramatically better. Voip.ms is great, but not in the same category.

We keep voip.ms primarily for it's amazing global phone number options.

Below is the link for Chime's pricing

            DID: $1.00

            United States of America $0.002216

            Outbound Calling:
United States of America $ 0.004800

              Okay interesting....

So the DID is super high. The outbound calling is a little high. The inbound is fantastic. So very asymmetrical. If you take loads and inbound and very little outbound, or balance with other services.

Sounds like I'd want to buy into Chime if I had an inbound call center, but if I'm calling out, I'd want to use someone else's lines.

Does Chime offer inbound numbers from outside of the US? Might be a good place to use them.

                  From their site:

Q: What countries does Amazon Chime Business Calling support for telephone numbers?

We currently support United States phone numbers only. Additional countries will be supported in the future.

Friendly reminder that Chime prices do not include support, and that is an additional (high) charge, whereas our pricing includes support.

Chime isn't really intended for MSPs, it's more of a platform to build services like Slack or Teams on top of. That's why they don't include CNAM or 911. Their support is going to be tailored for those kinds of customers, as will their integrations. So be mindful to try and not fit a square peg in a round hole.

                        More of the Twilio market.

No it is not. Do your math better. Half of VoIP.ms is not much higher than Skyetel's relationship pricing.

No one should get CNAM from their carrier anyway. It is a silly expense to pay for no reason for many businesses.
