Finished the first season of The Mandalorian last night.
I haven't started it yet. I dont have Disney+ , and no real want to get it. it's just an added expense that my son would use maybe 3 times a week .
that seems like an odd number of times (and I'm not talking the fact that it's an odd number)

I just know my son, and he wouldn't have any interest in it.

I'm on season two of The Expanse and it's finally really grabbed my attention.
I mean season one was OK - but definitely not the best SciFi out there. I suppose if hard science type stuff is more important to you, then perhaps - as the show seems to mostly build upon our current tech levels, and rarely makes leaps of technology magic (the cellphones are an obvious exception).
I do feel they glossing over the whole - time it takes to get places though. even at 1 G, the minimum time to get to Mars from earth is 3 days, yet the show seems to make that happen in mere hours of store time, yet - they talk about the time delay in receiving signals from one to the other.
Meh - it's SciFi.

It took about 5 episodes into the first season to grab my attention. It held it since, so if your grabbed now, it will continue.
I have a few issues with all of SciFi, especially around communications. I love it when space travel takes months to go "small" distances but they are able to have full real-time hologram conference calls across galaxies. Its TV, so I get over it. LOL

I though SG-1/Universe solved the transgalactic communication thing pretty well - at least they fit it inside their canon, communication stones.
