Third load of laundry in, Dishes running, kids just started a crystal growing do-dad on rocks.Also working on moving into the ACER and off the Dell so that I can DoD it and sell it...
This is going to be the year of down sizing some hardware... -

Well, I think that the components of the story have been overdone so much since the book was written that that took something out of it. The movie lacked good cohesion. Had breakfast with my SIL this morning and she loves the book but hates the movie. She said that the book isn't all disjointed and nonsensical like the movie and is way better. I've been planning on reading it, it just hasn't made my current reading list yet (so many things to read!)
Overall it was good, but I had guessed what was happening in the first few minutes. It's a good story and makes an important social point (that's the best thing that sci fi does, IMHO) and it was a great vehicle for that but I imagine that the book will be way better.

We didn't really celebrate New Year's Eve on the day because some of the family had to work. So celebrating it with a family party today. @dominica and her sister are out buying Cards Against Humanity and some GoPro supplies right now.

@scottalanmiller Don't know if you'll be coming up i-75, but if you find that you are,.. Holler... Office and house is pretty close.
Taking down the holiday stuff,.. starting the process of reducing some of the electronic devices in the house. From the comments from the younger populace - I need to ante up on the Firewall here to do some filtering... They are obsessed with YouTube Videos on MindCraft, and some just are not age appropriate....

Unlikely that it would be. From your current location you're likely to go up i-65 to i-71 to just south of Cincinnati... It doesn't make sense to put extra miles and time on you when you are already looking at a 17 hour drive ( Houston, TX to Dayton, OH).
There will be another time maybe..
