Have you looked at Itarian's (formerly Comodo) suite of tools?

One "minor" weak point I have with it would be the equivalent of a knowledge base which is more of an osTicket problem than Itarian problem, but I'm positive it can be addressed by changing their add-ons they use. So if I were to use a tool such as MediaWiki or Zoho Wiki for comparison, then ITarian falls behind feature wise for making document management a breeze and also being able to produce doc's via pdf/word/text.
Also having something in mind like IT Glue which can "compile" your client documentation into a file/folder and making it downloadable or shareable is something it can't do but in theory yes you could use the "knowledge base" but that's more or less forking it for something it shouldn't be doing. I see issues of password management running up to.
In the case of my use of it, I'm still seeing more opportunities for me to use 3rd party apps in association with it. Sometimes that's fine but sometimes I lose the "single pane of glass". But honestly, the SPoG is too "marketing" for my taste with not much to show.

Testing it out now, but so far, it just seems to be full of errors and not work. It starts with their "Dome" thing popping up and asking us to accept a EULA, but the dialogue breaks and doesn't let us do it, so that's just lost. There seems to be no way to trigger it again.
We tried adding a device and it says that we need to add ITSM from the store. But there is no such thing in the store (not much of anything in the store, in fact.) So we can't use it at all. Not sure where to go from here. Doesn't seem to "do" anything.

Every option in the dashboard tells us to go here (but says for a reason that doesn't make sense) but this is all we get...
-
I don't see anywhere to add or manage users. I love the idea of free, for a lot of "duh" reasons. But is this really functional? As this is a cloud product, are we all seeing the same thing or is our account messed up somehow?
-
This is fishy, too.

Different browser, different region...

Okay, I created a totally new account. This changes how it looks and reacts. Looks like maybe they just broke the first account.
-
Okay, with a NEW account, I can now add end points. And Linux is supported!

Here, Management and then Select Staff

@dbeato thanks, yeah we got that working.

yes, Linux is supported. I believe you only can do scripts and basic management.

I was late to the party then

@dbeato only need basics. I've got several Linux in there testing now.

I signed up for an account and got a sales call before I had even gotten my "confirm account" email. Not a great start. And what's worse is that the lady who called left a faint, mumbling message that I truly could not decipher. If she had been calling to tell me I won a million dollars, I would not know it.

That's what it was like for us the first time around. They just kept calling, too.
But this time, so far so good.
