Well speed is a big issue still 🙂

And $10/TB is awesome but still higher than local. That's per year twice the price to own the same capacity locally. So lots of use case for both.

@scottalanmiller Right, however you don't have to worry about backing it up ether. That has to be worth something 🙂

Oh definitely worth a lot. But try playing a video game off of Google Drive 🙂

@scottalanmiller Right, but I will think about it purely for storage - music, movies, pictures, documents, etc.

@aaron-studer There will always be a reason to have local storage.

I dont trust anyone to have complete backups. If they are really important files, you better have them stored locally, too. The likelihood of Google losing your data is slim to none, but its something to think about.

I still get it cheaper with my "grandfathered" plan.

That being said, I will be upgrading from my 20.00/year for 80gb to the 1TB per month and dropping dropbox. This is a great deal.

I have over 11GB of Dropbox on the free account. I was originally gaining storage when you would get 250MB/person you referred. Now it's 500MB. But yea, started at 2GB and have multiplied almost six times over.

I really like Copy - You start with 20GB and get 5GB for each referral!

Also, I really like there fair storage policy
