I got cold called and emailed by these folks, just curious if anyone has any insight or experience with them.

Supposedly save on cellular bills and make their money that way. An example they save "$12" per line and they keep $5 per line so everyone is happy type of thing.

Cold calls = numbers that get reported, no matter what they might pitch me. I've never heard of that site/company/service, but if they cold call you with a good deal, they're almost certainly full of shit.

disclaimer: I'm cynical as fuck. If you want to give your $$$ to some fucking cold calling entity, by all means go ahead. You might also be interested in this beachfront property I have for sale... in central Arizona, beautiful ocean views, only $12M if you act now.

I've never heard of them, but I'd be hard press to try and need their services if the savings gained was so substantial that it wasn't something I hadn't already implemented. . .

@dustinb3403 Yeah, that's what got me. I already keep a close eye on the VZW account, have MDM and its a pretty much hands off for me and the 100+ devices due to automation, but was just curious.

It's true, if it was really a good deal, they'd not need to call you and everyone would use them.

If they REALLY do what they say, the best thing to do is to maximum your savings to the point that you feel like you can't find any more. Then let them do their thing and if they REALLY find you savings and REALLY don't make things not work, maybe... but it's a silly thing. Where would their savings come from?

Companies like this exist because lots of SMB have no idea how to run their own business. so things like cell phone services are huge disasters.

@jaredbusch I agree with you here! I used to work for Verizon, so I feel like I have a pretty decent advantage over most folks when it comes to cellular expenses. I have seen many accounts that are a cluster of a mess and they just kept paying the bill.

We have an even bigger advantage, we use TMobile 🙂

Currently, my plan cannot be beat by any existing plans that T-Mobile offers. I check in for current deals once or twice a year.

Account with 5 phones. Two of them current being paid for (second column).

The plan says 4 lines but they had a promo a couple years ago to add a line for free. So I did..

That's a great deal for 4 lines. Just for myself, ting has been amazing. My usage has been up for the past few months, so my bill has gone up from $25.00/month to $35.00/month (yes, ting still does the tiered billing thing, but only charge for what you actually use.)
